Group B in TECHLABS Cup 2012 finished with fnatic in first place, winning three games to make it through to the playoffs.

The debut with Andreas "MODDII" Fridh in the lineup took place against Xapso on de_train, with fnatic starting on the Terrorists side. From there fnatic managed to claim a 9-6 lead, putting them in a great position for the second half. In the second half Fridh proved why he has been signed by fnatic, fragging away to secure the victory at 16-9.

ESC had an easy start in the group, facing snT from Belarus, a match the Poles went on to win 24-6 on de_nuke. In the second match they faced Xapso, for the second match in a row the Danes played de_train and once again got to start on the CT side. Little did the CT side help Xapso in the first half, seeing ESC claim the lead at halftime with a 9-6 score line. ESC managed to seal the victory from the CT side, but the Danes gave them a great run for the money, ending up at 17-13 in favor of the Poles.

With a 22-8 win against snT, fnatic moved on to face ESC in the last match of the group, winner would claim the first place in the group. The two sides duked it out on de_train, but the very anticipated match ended up one sided. After playing the Terrorists side, fnatic had a 9-6 lead and as CT locked it down, winning 16-9 for first place in the group.

Xapso and snT faced each other in the last match of the group, which served no purpose, as both teams had zero chance of advancing. The teams ended up playing 15-15 on de_inferno.

Monday will feature the third group, seeing the debut for Martin "trace" Heldt in SK Gaming, facing WinFakt, Alternate and Virtus.pro. You will be able to follow all of the matches via HLTV.org, kicking off with the first round at 18:00
